About the Program
This is a great opportunity to share your time, enthusiasm, skills, and solidarity by serving those in need.
The VIP (Volunteers for International Partnership) is a unique chance to share your expertise and aid in sectors such as health, education, and environmental protection. You can choose to assist in child and elderly care, educational projects, or engage in environmental efforts such as forest protection and waste management. This program is designed not only to make a positive impact but also to enrich volunteers with language skills, cultural understanding, and professional experience in social and ecological fields. Both individual and group options offer immersive experiences tailored to personal and team goals.
Individual Volunteer Program
The Individual Volunteer Program, or Volunteers for International Partnership (VIP), offers a personalized way to contribute to meaningful projects in health, education, community development, and environmental conservation.
Social Welfare Projects:
- Child care assistance at children’s centers
- Support for the elderly in need
- Engagement with people with special needs through therapy and education
- English language teaching
- Assisting medical personnel in hospitals and clinics
Key Features:
- Comprehensive experience from 2 to 12 months.
- Personalized project placement based on the volunteer’s skills and interests.
- Deep cultural immersion with language training.
Support Provided:
- Food and lodging for the program’s duration.
- 80 hours of language courses with qualified instructors.
- Program completion certificate.
- Pre-departure information on projects and accommodations in Ecuador.
- Travel arrangement assistance and visa support.
Not Included:
- International airfare
- Health insurance
- Travel documents and airport taxes
- Personal expenses
Group Volunteer Program
EIL Ecuador’s Group Volunteer Program is structured for collective volunteer efforts, integrating cultural activities and community service, suitable for short-term volunteer work during spring and summer breaks.
Social Welfare Projects:
- Engagements in projects that could include child care, elder care, and environmental protection activities.
- Group-oriented tasks that leverage collective skills for community development.
- Environmental conservation efforts such as forest protection and wildlife conservation.
Key Features:
- Short-term volunteer opportunities ranging from 3 to 15 days.
- Ideal for students and corporate groups looking for a team-building experience.
Support Provided:
- Accommodation with local families for a more integrated experience.
- Meals throughout the program’s duration.
- On-site orientation and language instruction for better interaction.
- EIL Ecuador’s continuous support and coordination.
- Certificate and travel assistance post-program completion.
Not Included:
- International airfare
- Personal expenses such as souvenirs, additional travel, and leisure activities
