From April 2nd to 6th, 2019, the annual FEIL (Federation of the Experiment in International Living) General Assembly was held in Paris. The meetings were held at the FIAP Jean Monnet, an International Residence Center located in the heart of Paris, in the 14th District. At the end of the Second World War, this building was conceived as a place to encourage meetings and exchanges among young people and to fight against all forms of discrimination.
During the meetings, administrative issues concerning the International Federation and its members were analyzed.
Most of the time of the meeting focused on the process of implementing quality standards for international education.
Several representatives of partner organizations, from various countries around the world, were invited to attend a Crisis Management Workshop, conducted by Kirstin French of World Learning. Organizations from Spain, Italy, Canada, Nepal, India, the United States, and Estonia were present.
These were days of intense work, in which the enthusiasm of the FEIL members was always present. This was a great working group, diverse, and with the same vision and passion as those with which the Federation was created: to work effectively so that the people of the world can know new cultures and create spaces of respect and tolerance that contribute to create peace in the world.
Thanks to the Centre d´Echanges Internationaux, member of the FEIL in France, for the organization of the National Assembly.
