Spanish Group Classes
EIL adjusts to any requirements of group programs for schools, colleges, universities, organizations, NGOs, trade unions or associations.
Since 1989, the EIL Spanish and Culture Department has offered intensive language and culture courses to students of “The World Learning SIT Study Abroad” program. In addition to components of communication and Spanish – Language in context, classes include topics related to specific program requirements.
All our group classes have a maximum of 7 students per class.
Being immersed in a Spanish-speaking environment allows you to put into practice all the communicative skills acquired in our classes, while getting to know the wonderful Ecuadorian culture and interacting with its people.
EIL has an excellent team of highly qualified teachers that fully adapt to your learning needs and your level of proficiency in Spanish, as well as your way of learning the language.
Students in the EIL Spanish and Culture Department come from different countries and quickly feel at home because the Spanish spoken in Quito is very clear and understandable, and Ecuadorians readily offer support and friendship.
Most of our students stay with selected families with whom they can practice the language and experience the culture.
Our classes are interactive and we also develop activities outside the classroom, such as: museum visits, interviews, lectures, visits to markets, etc.
Quito is the capital of Ecuador, named as a World Heritage Site for its colonial architecture and churches, richly decorated with gold. From the terrace of the building EIL has a beautiful view of the snowcapped of the Andes, the colonial city, and the Pichincha volcano. These aspects, together with the spring weather and the warmth of our Spanish Language Department staff, make learning here enjoyable and meaningful.
Our Language Centre is strategically located in a residential area of Quito. The EIL building has classrooms, a library, meeting room, cafeteria and a spacious terrace. Public transport is two blocks from the Language Center for easy access to any part of the city.
