WOW! is what I say about my VOLUNTEER experiences in Ecuador through EIL. I spent almost five months teaching English in the sub-tropical village of Unidos Venceremos where I learned so much about culture and customs, along with enjoying the incredible variety of animal life and vegetation. I will never again take for granted frog choruses, what a minga entails, and how yucca gets harvested…
When I returned to Ecuador´s capital city, Quito, I enrolled in EIL´s TESOL teacher training course, which gave me all the theoretical elements I had been missing in my teaching. The combination of excellent teaching and the student community with whom I spent most of my waking hours for an entire month gave me a rich and truly unique learning experience. TESOL gave me a toolbox full of resources to support my continued work as an English teacher. I wanted life-changing experiences and EIL made this possible. Thank you!!! from
