| SEMESTER ABROAD IN ECUADOR EIL ECUADOR has years of experience providing important services that allow study abroad directors to devote more time to their students and the academic content of their program without having to deal with time-consuming administrative and logistical details, language classes, and homestays. |
| SERVICES: | - Sponsorship of program in Ecuador
- Documents necessary to obtain the appropriate visa in Ecuadorian Consulates abroad
- Intensive Spanish in classes of 3 to 5 students at EIL`S Language Center
- Excellent teachers with years of experience in teaching Spanish to study and semester abroad groups.
- Conference room facilities if required
- Homestays with local families affiliated with EIL Ecuador
- Administrative and logistical assistance for field trips, excursions, and other program related activities.
| | ADMINISTRATIVE AND LOGISTICAL SUPPORT: | Making hotel and flight reservations, contracting buses for field trips and excursions, getting the right assistance when emergencies arise, finding good English speaking doctors, gathering information for applying for the appropriate visas at Ecuadorian consulates in the U.S., and registering visas with the authorities once in-country are time-consuming tasks. EIL Ecuador can help with all or any of these requirements. |
| | HOMESTAYS WITH ECUADORIAN HOST FAMILIES: Individual Placement- only one student per family. Our families are known for their warm hospitality and genuine desire to open their homes to persons from abroad. Before each program, host families attend an orientation session covering program schedule, special needs, health and safety procedures, etc. LANGUAGE COURSES: Since 1989, The Spanish Department of EIL Ecuador´s Language Center has provided intensive Spanish language programs for students on Study Abroad programs. Spanish classes incorporate subjects and vocabularly related to the academic core program through coordination between our Language Center and the Academic Directors of the Study Abroad program. Classes at each level have 3 to 5 students. |
